The large rooms are in very good condition with dark wood Victorian furniture and light soft furnishings, giving an attractive traditional appearance. The bathrooms are in very good condition, decorated in white. All rooms have a modem point.The charming lobby is small, split into three parts with a central hall and smaller seating areas on either side. It is decorated in attractive pastel shades with a blue floral carpet and dark wood furniture. The lobby is a strong feature of the hotel, due to the numerous, well preserved original features, such as the ornate coving to the ceiling and the York stone staircase.The restaurant, located in the basement is decorated in warm reds, offering a welcoming atmosphere, complimented by traditional pictures hanging on the walls and dark wood furniture.
