Slap bang on the fabulous Falesia Beach, the Alfamar Beach and Sport Resort Hotel Algarve is perfectly situated amid gardens and pine forest with an enviable footpath at the end of the pool / gardens leading directly onto the golden beach of Falesia, the Alfamar boasts a peaceful location combined with numerous facilities. There is a spacious entrance hall with piano and an adjoining evening lounge bar, and a choice of restaurants. The large outdoor pool with pool bar is surrounded by gardens and terraces that lead down to the beach via a wooden walkway. The indoor pool and health club is a real must and offers badminton, squash, tennis and many other sports facilities. Bedrooms follow clean, modern lines with blue and white decor and balcony or terrace with views of the surrounding area or the sweeping ocean. Around 2km (1.2 miles) to the village of Acoteias and there is a local bus service from the entrance, to Albufeira centre, This is a great choice for active couples, families and those in search of a hotel with good leisure facilities.

Bedroom: The 264 rooms all have direct dial telephone, colour TV with radio, air-conditioning with heating and a furnished balcony. Mini firdges can also be hired from the reception.

Restaurant: "Boavista" restaurant with European buffet opens for Breakfast 7.30-10am, lunch 12.30-2.30pm, dinner 6.30-9.30pm. "Caravela" restaurant has a nautical theme and offers a la carte meals and self-serve lunches. Both restaurants have outdoor seating in summer. The Atlantico pool bar operates between 10am - 1am during the summer season. Buffet dining here is excellent and we have sampled the delights of their cuisine and the choice and quality is set to a very high standard.

Bar: The "Atlantico" pool bar operates between 10am - 1am (summer season) and the "Beach Bar" is open from 10am - 6pm (June - Sept.), the "Havana" lobby bar is open from 8pm - 12pm during the winter months.

Business facilities: There are 2 conference rooms "Algarve" 315 Sq m with a capacity of upt o 175 persons and the "Alfamar" 90 Sq m with a capacity of up to 50 persons. There is also an internet corner, fax, photocopier and currency exchange available at the reception.

Family facilities: Free baby cots and highchairs available on request. Babysitting can be arranged through reception. Interconnecting rooms can be requested. A kids club is also available, operating from 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm from April - October. Children are welcome from 5yrs - 11yrs of age.
