The Ambasciatori Palace Hotel, is a historical building overlooking via Veneto, one of the most renowned avenues in the world. Known as The Ambassadors Palace at the beginning of the XXth century because it was built to host diplomats of the nearby Embassies. Since then, it has undergone various careful restorations which have modernized the hotel, highlighting at the same time its period decor. The polychrome stucco-work of mouldings, ceilings, arches and capitals may now be seen in its original splendour, as well as the Brazilian granite columns, the marble and mosaic flooring, and the intricate wrought- iron railings of the grand staircase.
