Bab Al Shams is just 45 minutes from Dubai airport and offers traditional Arabic style décor with a very high standard of facilities. With a range of restaurants on site there is something for everyone - although heading into the city can be organised easily with reception. We recommend trying the regions first authentic open-air Arabic desert restaurant located 300 meters from the resort in the rolling dunes, with belly dancing, falconry displays and Arabic henna painting.

Restaurant: Al Hadeerah Desert Restaurant serves traditional Arabic cuisine. Al Forsan Restaurant serves International Cuisine. Pizzeria Le Dune with its rustic décor Le Dune captures the charm and the romance of rural Italy. In addition, the most exotic flavours of India come to the desert of Arabia at Masala Restaurant. The Pool Bar has an a la carte light menu and also serves cocktails.

Bar: Al Sarab Roof Top Lounge - this two-storey rooftop lounge with ambient dimmed lanterns and a décor of soft earth colours, provides a tranquil vista to watch the sun go down. Al Sarab serves a wide selection of beverages & shishas.

Business facilities: The resort has a range of conference and meeting rooms available for hire.

Family facilities: There are suites available on request that would suit a family. Sibads Kid's club offers a varied programme of activities for children aged between 2 and 12, under the supervision of trained and qualified staff, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm everyday. There is also Shaded children's pool attached to the main resort pool, children's menu in all restaurants and a baby sitting service on request.

Disabled facilities: There are guest rooms that have been specifically adapted for disabled clients. Wheelchair users can access most public areas of the hotel.

Other facilities: Camel rides and falconry are available with a charge locally.

Within 20 minutes walk: The hotel is in the desert so there is nothing in the immediate vicinity.
