Hotel Baia Grande (Land View) (Albufeira)

Located in the quieter part of Albufeira known as Sesmarias some 3km away and akin to a small self contained resort in its own right, the Baia Grande is a fairly new arrival to the Algarve hotel scene yet has rapidly built a reputation on high standards and good service. Numerous facilities are on offer here and its within close proximity to Faro airport making this good, quick and easy for a quick weekend break. There are a good choice of restaurants here for you to choose from whilst the tempting pool area makes a great place to laze away the days, highly recommended.

Bedroom: 29 mountain / land view rooms consisting of a large bedroom, private bathroom and balcony overlooking the surrounding area, with capacity for 2 adults and 1 extra bed.

The lobby has an attractive lounge area where you can purchase goods from the gift store or relax over a drink from the cocktail and piano bar.

Reception: Large reception area manned 24 hours and offering a range of facilities including currency exchange, Internal laundry service, bookings for car rental and excursions.

Restaurant: "Mermaid Restaurant", named after the design of the hotel has great views out to sea and is the venue for breakfast dinner and lunches. This is the main restaurant and is based on buffet mostly and a la carte occasionally. "Albufeira Restaurant" is situated on the 1st floor of the hotel and focuses more on fine dining with a selective and contemporary menu of a la carte cuisine. "Neptuno" is the seasonal choice and is open from April through to October. Here drinks and hearty snacks can be enjoyed.

Breakfast room: Breakfast is taken in the "Mermaid Restaurant" from 8am - 10.30am.

Bar: The piano bar situated at lobby level offer relaxed enjoyment amidst live music most evenings.

Business facilities: There is one large conference room designed to accommodate all meetings and presentations. Appliances may be hired and / or provided through the hotel for this purpose including: P.A system, TV and video, flip chart, projector and overhead chart.

Family facilities: Rooms can accommodate up to 3 persons, adjoining rooms and family suite can be requested. Baby cots and high chairs are available.

Beach: The stunning sandy beach is 800m away and can easily be accessed by leisurely stroll or your car should you choose to hire one.
