Hotel Denia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa (Denia)

This magnificent complex, set in spacious grounds, nestles into the hillside just outside the pretty town of Denia (approximately 10 minutes away by car). From the moment that you walk in to the spacious and elegant reception area you are surrounded by luxury. The hotel has a relaxing country estate feel to it and enjoys stunning views over the golf course and surrounding countryside. Guests can indulge themselves in the extensive spa, take in a round of golf or simply relax and enjoy the generously proportioned pool area and gardens.

Bedroom: Bedrooms have either 2 Queen sized beds or 1 King size, seating area and desk. Most have furnished balcony or patio.

Restaurant: The main "Montgo" restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Breakfast 7.00am - 12pm, lunch 1pm - 4pm and dinner 7pm - 11pm). It is casual and informal in style and serves regional and national dishes. The "Segaria" fine dining restaurant is open exclusively for dinner (Wednesday to Saturday 7pm - 11pm) and special events and serves an à la carte menu together with a great selection of wines. "Hole 19" as the name suggests is set on the golf course overlooking the first tee, it is short stroll from the main hotel and is open during the day for drinks and a selection of snacks in a restful environment.

Bar: The Lobby Bar is located in the reception area and is open from 9am right through until 1am. It serves a wide variety of drinks and snacks. In the summer months the Pool Bar is open for hot and cold dishes, mouth watering appetizers and creative cocktails.

Business facilities: Rooms have telephones with voice mail facility and data port. The hotel has 7 meeting rooms that can be arranged to accommodate any number of people up to 620 and can be used for conferences, exhibitions and product launches. The largest of the rooms has flexible doors which allow for the exhibition of large objects such as cars.

Family facilities: Standard rooms sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. Interconnecting rooms are available on request. There is a children's section of the swimming pool and the hotel operates a children's club in the main school holiday periods.

Disabled facilities: Public areas are accessible and the hotel has 5 rooms designed for disabled guests which are located on the ground floor.

Within 20 minutes walk: Hotel gardens, Montgo Natural Park and La Sella golf course which is only a couple of minutes from the hotel.

Additional Hotel Facilities

Pool: There is an extensive outdoor pool with children's section. The indoor pool forms part of the Spa and charges for use do apply and vary depending on which spa facilities are being used.

Gym: Hotel guests have access to the Techno gym free of charge; it is located next to the spa.

Spa: The La Sella Spa is run by the world renowned Wheway Lifestyle International. It offers a variety of treatments including an assortment of massage treatments, facials, depilatory treatments, holistic therapies and beauty salon. All are at extra costs.

Golf: The hotel is located on La Sella golf course which opened in 1991 and was designed by Jose María Olazábal. It has a total length of 6289 metres (20633 feet) and a par of 72. The hotel reception can book tee times and golf lessons.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): 95km (59 miles) from either Alicante or Valencia airports. Cost is approx 100 Euros in a taxi and journeys take about 1 hour 15 min.

Train: There is a bus stop outside the hotel for regular buses to Denia (Monday to Friday only). Taxis are reasonably priced and can be called from reception any time.

Parking: Open air car parking spaces available free of charge.
