Dumbleton Hall (Dumbleton) - Hotel Description

A stunning manor house set in 19 acres with long driveway and beautiful grounds. The original hall is traced back to 1534 but was rebuilt in late 18th century with Cotswolds stone and was a private home for many decades only becoming a hotel in 1959. It has an impressive reception area but there is also a cosy homely ambience to the whole hotel with lots of wood panelling and traditional furnishings. The bedrooms can vary greatly in size and shape but generally are good size with high ceilings. The bedroom furnishings are tired and old fashioned but clean and comfortable; there is an on-going refurbishment. It is the "get away from it all" spectacular setting of Dumbleton Hall and the friendly service that is the real charm and appeal.

Bedroom: There are smoking and non-smoking rooms in the hotel and each room may be slightly different in style, size and shape. Rooms can be tired and old fashioned but are comfortable and clean and most rooms will have fantastic views of the hotel grounds.

Suite: There is a Suite with a Four Poster bed available, subject to rates and availability.

Restaurant: Traditional style restaurant with views over grounds open daily for breakfast and dinner and for lunch on Sundays only.

Bar: Relaxing lounge bar area in the hotel; bar is open 24hours for hotel guests (may be via reception/duty manager after 23.00).

Garden: The hotel is set in 19 acres of grounds including lawns, lake, woodland.

Business facilities: There are three function rooms available; the hotel can take conference bookings and is very popular wedding venue.

Family facilities: There are some rooms that are suitable for 2 adults and 2 children (subject to availability and supplements) cots and highchairs are available at the hotel.

Disabled facilities: The hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users as there are no adapted bedrooms. There is ramp access to hotel though and public areas are accessible.

Within 20 minutes walk: Walks within the grounds, woodland, lake and through the tiny village of Dumbleton, there is also a church beside Dumbleton hall. Within a short drive you have Cotswolds on your doorstep with picturesque town Broadway, Cheltenham (15km) and Stratford-upon-Avon (25km).

Airport(s): Birmingham airport is approx. 65km away take train to Evesham and then a taxi to hotel; taxi from airport is approx 45mins and costs approx. £45-50.
