"Welcome aboard", this unique floating hotel situated in the trendy docklands quarter of Antwerp. All rooms / cabins are surprisingly well appointed and have private facilities with a shower or bath, satellite TV, mini bar and direct dial telephone. A busy piano bar, restaurant and popular party hall make this a great venue for large groups of friends or couples in search of something a little different. The "Captain's Lounge" is often the place to be and has some great views whilst the sun deck is a great place to chill in the summer! Close to the city centre and all the major sights this real maritime experience is a great and unique offering and a must for those seeking something out of the ordinary. Bedroom: Cabins offer direct dial telephone, colour TV, mini bar and bath or shower. Reception: The reception is manned 24hours a day. Restaurant: International cuisine is offered from 7pm - 10pm. Breakfast room: Breakfast is served between 7am - 10am. Bar: The bar is open all day until the last person leaves!. Disabled facilities: Not suitable. Within 20 minutes walk: Old town, shops, restaurants and bars. The zoo, diamond museum and central station are all just a little over 20mins walk away or much quicker / closer by public transport. Transport ConnectionsAirport(s): There are three quick and simple options for getting to Antwerp. Firstly flying into Brussels can often be a good option. SN Brussels and BA both offer nationwide flights. SN Brussels then offer a bus service "SN Bus" with a direct route from Brussels airport into Antwerp. A short taxi ride will then take you to the hotel. A taxi direct from Brussels will be approximately: c. 60 euros and is a 45mins journey (or more depending on traffic). Otherwise a train can be taken from Brussels airport to Antwerp via Brussels Central. Flying directly into Antwerp can also be an option with often low fares (particularly at the weekends being offered by VLM airlines. The airport is central (just 8km away) and takes little more than 15mins by taxi c. 10 euros. When purchasing any eurostar ticket to Brussels, this immediately enables free immediate onward travel to any other Belgian destination, meaning that Antwerp would make a perfect alternative for a great break. Simply take an Antwerp bound train with an approximate journey time of just 40 mins. Train: 250 meters away, and this will take you into the town centre.
