Hotel Grand Hotel Saltsjobaden

Dating back to 1893, this majestic, historical hotel enjoys a unique and stunning location in Stockholm's archipelago. An extensive refurbishment programme has been carried out throughout, restoring the Grand Hotel Saltsjobaden to its former glory. Most of the lovely, inviting public areas take full advantage of the fabulous sea views. Good sized, modern bedrooms are decorated in rich colours and furnished in a classic style. Despite the tranquil surroundings, the city centre can be reached in less than 30 mins with the nearby train, although it may prove difficult to drag yourself away from such an enchanting setting!.

Bedroom: Spacious rooms many with sea views, the hotel is completely non smoking. Internet access is available in all rooms at a charge of approximately 120 Skr/ 24 hours. In room safe free of charge.

Bathroom: Majority of rooms are with bathtub.

Restaurant: The hotels 'Sea front' restaurant is open Mondays - Thursdays 5 pm - 10 pm and Fridays and Saturdays 12 noon - 10 pm serving a la carte lunch and dinner. And Sundays from 3pm - 5 pm serving brunch.

Bar: Serves snacks. Open until 22.00 hrs. Beer can be purchased from reception until 2am.

Business facilities: Business centre. 10 meeting/conference rooms with capacity for 250 pax.

Spa: The spa includes six treatment rooms which have been beautifully decorated following a chosen theme. Examples include African, Indian and Swedish rooms. Open 11 am to 8 pm Mon to Fri, 10 am to 7 pm Sat and 10 am to 4pm Sun. Hotel charges c. SEK 195 per day for pool/spa area access and this is an adults only area.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): Train to Central Station, underground to Slussen then train to Saltsjobaden. Alternatively taxi direct c. 645 SEK, approx. 40 mins.

Train: Take Saltsjobanan from central Stockholm (Slussen station) the journey takes approximately 20 minutes and the Saltsjobaden train station is opposite the hotel.

Parking: Private on site parking, free of charge. Uncovered.
