Heliotrope is a superb value hotel just 900 meters from Stalis and in an elevated location boasting some great views. Recently acquired by new owners the Heliotrope is currently under-going some major changes so that for the start of the 2008 season, there will be a complete makeover of the rooms and public areas. The pool and surrounding area are lovely and peaceful, there is a friendly atmosphere and that's what makes this hotel so special. The pool bar serves snacks and drinks whilst the taverna offers a buffet half board option and the value of this can not be beaten. The rooms are all clean and will be fully furnished and each room has a furnished balcony with stunning country views. The walk to Stalis is a pleasant one and for many, being close to the resort yet far enough away is the best of both worlds. A lovely choice. Bedroom: The rooms are furnished with twin or double beds, new furniture and private furnished balconies or terrace. Restaurant: Buffet style half board option is available. The cuisine is simple home cooking and superb value for money. Breakfast room: A Greek style buffet breakfast is served daily from 7am - 10am. Bar: The bar is open daily until late, usually until the last person leaves. Family facilities: The rooms can accommodate 1 or 2 children if sharing with 2 adults. Disabled facilities: None, the hotel's location would not be suited to people with walking difficulties or wheelchairs. Within 20 minutes walk: Stalis centre, shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Additional Hotel FacilitiesPool: The outdoor pool offers a large sun terrace with sun beds and outdoor snack bar. Transport ConnectionsAirport(s): Check on line transfer operators for quick and inexpensive shuttle services or a taxi direct will take around 25mins and cost 30€. Car hire is the most effective way of seeing the island having flexibility to discover the island at your leisure. Train: The main E75 high road 200m away. Parking: Parking spaces opposite the Heliotrope with no charge made.
