This quaint hotel just outside the historic city walls of Lucca old town is a delight for those looking for a quiet, relaxing, home-from-home base from which to explore the city and the beautiful Tuscany countryside. English is not widely spoken in the hotel, but the staff will always do their best to make their guests feel at home. Their many guests who return year after year suggest that they succeed in ensuring a pleasant stay! Very characteristic and charming, each bedroom is different, but all are cosy and well maintained and are decorated in an informal, welcoming style.

Bedroom: Non smoking rooms are available on request. PLEASE NOTE: Two of the bedrooms in the hotel have the bathroom outside the bedroom although it is private to only that bedroom and cannot be used by other guests. Also, hotel requires that guests refrain from eating in carpeted bedrooms. If clients wish to take food into their bedroom, a room with tiled floor should be requested when booking.

Bathroom: Almost all bedrooms have shower, not bath. Bathrooms are generally quite sizeable but in ground floor rooms are slightly smaller.

Breakfast room: Breakfast is usually served from 8am until 10.30am in the breakfast/bar area of the hotel.

Bar: Open until midnight.

Family facilities: Bedroom can accommodate up to one child sharing with adults in separate bed. Hotel cannot provide cots.

Within 20 minutes walk: Historic centre of Lucca.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): Train directly from Pisa airport to Pisa centre then train from Pisa to Lucca approx 1 hour (c. 3 euro), then short taxi ride approx. 5 mins (c. 5 euro). Taxi direct approx. 45 euro. Limited off road parking available free of charge for guests.

Train: Bus stop within 200m (check!). Train station is approx. 25min walk from hotel or a short taxi or bus ride.
