Hotel Isabella (Standard Room)(Taormina)

A real gem of a hotel in an enviable position, right in the heart of Taormina old town. Located on the buzzing high street or Corso Umberto, guests have all amenities right on their doorstep. Bedrooms are decorated in an elegant classic style providing a good level of comfort. The Isabella is a typical boutique hotel with just 32 rooms and so does not have a restaurant, but guests are right in the middle of this beautiful town so are spoilt for choice for where to eat!.

Restaurant: No restaurant.

Breakfast room: Breakfast is served from 7.30am until 10am.

Family facilities: Cots available on request. High chairs available in breakfast room.

Disabled facilities: No specially adapted rooms and not all areas are accessible for wheelchair users.

Within 20 minutes walk: Hotel is in the centre of Taormina old town. Cable car down to beaches can also be reached.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): Taxi direct from Catania airport approx. 80 - 100 euro. Company 'APT' runs a bus every 20mins from approx. 5am until midnight to and from the central station of Catania. From here train to Taormina-Giardini station (approx. 4 euro) then short taxi ride. 'Etna trasporti' (www.etnatrasporti.it) run a bus which goes to Giardini Naxos and Taormina from the airport. Frequency will depend on season so check websites or tourist office.

Train: Bus stop approx. 600m from the hotel. Cable car entrance is about a 20 min walk from the hotel.

Parking: No private parking. There is public parking around 700m from the hotel and a free shuttle bus transports guests from car park to town centre. Cost depends on season.
