Hotel Jacques Brel

Hostel Jacques Brel offers a great value choice for people watching their budget. Clean, spacious and with an exceptional location, this beautiful building offers spacious twin bedded rooms with a compact en suit toilet and shower. There is a recreational area by the reception and a popular bar that generates a buzzing atmosphere in the evenings. A bright breakfast room offers hearty buffet breakfast whilst a charming courtyard is a great place to sit and have a beer or two during the summer. This is a great little find and is an ideal option for younger couples and travelers familiar with hostel accommodation.

Bedroom: The rooms are basic but clean and spacious. They all have en suite facilities with WC and shower.

Reception: The reception is open from 8am - 7pm (6pm on Saturday and Sunday). The hostel is open daily from 7am - 1am. A laundry facility is available for guests which is located in the basement, tokens can be purchased at the reception. Vending machines are also located by the reception area and there is also a small gift shop for any last minute souvenirs.

Breakfast room: A spacious breakfast room on the 1st floor offers a hearty buffet available from 7.30am - 10am.

Bar: The popular bar opens from 7pm and is open until 1am and offers a good range of beers at reasonable prices along with free internet availability. Snacks and board games are also available. On Saturday and Sunday the bar opens slightly earlier at 6pm.

Business facilities: The hotel does have meeting rooms available for hire. There are 4 rooms in total holding from 15 to 120 persons.

Disabled facilities: The hotel does offer access for disabled travelers, with life access to all floors.

Within 20 minutes walk: Place De Rogier, Botanical Gardens, Grand Place, Sablon, Shops, Bars and Restaurants.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): From Brussels International Airport, take the train directly into Central Station and take the metro to station "Madou". From "Gare Du Midi" for the Eurostar, take the Metro line 2 direction "Simonis" and get off at "Madou" follow Boulevard Bischoffsheim and the watch for the signposts.

Train: Public transport can be found 300m from the hotel, metro "Botanique" and tram.
