This charming stone farmhouse is in the beautiful village of Tauriac, a pleasant stroll away from the beautiful lakeside village of Cotes De Bourg and just 35mins drive to the magnificent and famous wine regions of St. Emillion and Pomerol- a perfect location for anyone who wants to sample a taste of rustic French lifestyle and enjoy some of the best wines in the world. All guests are welcomed with great enthusiasm, and excellent service is guaranteed, though your privacy is completely respected. The rooms are well appointed and overlook pretty gardens and fields. The garden is a glorious setting for a hearty continental breakfast on the terrace, whilst for those colder days a cosy breakfast room is also available. A swimming pool is planned for 2007.

Bedroom: The bedrooms are well appointed and furnished to a high standard.

Bathroom: The shared bathroom facilities are well appointed, modern and carefully maintained. There is cupboard space for your convenience, WC and shower unit.

Breakfast room: Breakfast can be enjoyed in the characteristic breakfast room which also serves as a little lounge. Here you will find a hearty buffet selection with optional extras (should you wish to order once there). Breakfast is served from 7am - 9.30am. Alternatively, you may decide to take your breakfast on the patio or in the garden terrace when the sun is shining. Views of the garden are beautiful and the clean fresh air will surely start your day perfectly.

Garden: The charming garden area offers a large maintained lawn, with dramatic backdrop of rocks with another small garden on top. There is a lovely little BBQ area for some friendly gatherings and a charming little terrace where you can enjoy a drink or two during the summer.

Family facilities: This is a great choice for family or friends, being a smaller property it offers the privacy and flexibility from the owners. Baby cots are available free of charge.

Within 20 minutes walk: The village of Bourg, country walks and Pomerol and St. Emillion by car. The car ferry is also available to visit the Medoc region.
