Hotel Lido La Perla Nera (Stresa)

This is a great little hotel tucked away right on the edge of the lake in the popular town of Stresa. Rooms are simple but very well maintained and providing a good level of comfort. A great base as at a reasonable price it offers facilities such as a restaurant, garden area and an indoor pool. The reception is airy and welcoming and staff are very happy to give any information required about the surrounding area and the beautiful sights of Lake Maggiore.

Bedroom: No safe in bedrooms but guests can use safe at reception. Although all public areas are non-smoking, smoking is permitted in all bedrooms.

Restaurant: Restaurant is open for dinner from 7pm until 9pm and serves international cuisine.

Bar: Bar is open 7am until midnight.

Garden: Hotel has a pleasant garden area where guests can relax on sun-loungers and also play table tennis.

Family facilities: Rooms cannot accommodate more than one child. Cots available on request at a cost of 10euro/night.

Disabled facilities: There are ramps to access the hotel and lift is accessible with wheelchairs, however the hotel has no specially adapted bedrooms.

Within 20 minutes walk: Centre of Stresa, shops & restaurants.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): Milan Malpensa is approx. 40 km a direct taxi costs c. 80 Euros and takes c. 40 mins. by car). There are buses which run between the airport and Stresa during the holiday season (contact local tourist office for up to date details). Alternatively clients can take a taxi from airport to Gallarate train station (c. 10 mins) and from there take train to Stresa (c. 30 mins). From Linate, which is approx. 70 km from Lake Maggiore, clients should go to Milan centre and then take train or bus to Stresa (approx. 1 ½ hours by train).

Train: The hotel is approx. 15 min walk from the train station. Bus stop within 100m of the hotel and in Stresa centre there is a port from which boats can be taken to other towns around the lake.

Parking: Private uncovered parking, free to guests.
