Hotel Mami Camilla

A hidden gem in the centre of Sant'Agnello which is just a ten minute bus ride from Sorrento. Staying in this hotel gives the guest the impression that they are in the middle of the countryside and yet they are in the centre of this busy coastal town! Mami Camilla is a family run establishment offering rustic accommodation in mostly single-level units located throughout the gardens and olive trees which provide much of the ingredients for the evening meals! Officially a 1-star hotel, we have decided to give a 2 star rating as rooms are well maintained and of a good standard.

Bedroom: Around 70% of the bedrooms are located in individual, ground level, rustic style buildings whilst the rest are located in a more recently constructed building which houses about 7 bedrooms on 2 floors.

Restaurant: Restaurant open all through the year and serves typical local & Mediterranean dishes. Dinner is served between 8 and 8.30 in the evening. Choice of dishes has to be given in advance (by 12pm) in order that it can be freshly prepared. Many of the products used are grown in the hotels gardens.

Bar: The bar is open in the summer only. Opening times are 11am until 1pm and 5pm until midnight.

Family facilities: Family rooms and interconnecting rooms available. Cots available.

Disabled facilities: Not suitable for clients requiring wheelchairs.

Other facilities: The hotel offers guests the opportunity to enrol in their cooking school. Courses go from one day to 13 weeks, at varying difficulty levels and participants will be taught a whole range dishes from pizza to desserts. Payable locally.

Within 20 minutes walk: Centre of Sant'Agnello. (Sorrento centre is approx. a half hour walk away).

Transport Connections

Airport(s): Taxi direct negotiable approx. 100 Euros. Alternatively bus/taxi to Beverello Port or Naples central station, then hydrofoil to Sorrento & taxi or bus to Sant'Agnello. Alternatively, circumvesuviana train from Naples central station to Sant' Agnello.

Train: Sant' Agnello train station, approx. 1km. Regular buses run from nearest stop Piazza Municipio 800m from hotel.

Parking: Uncovered private parking payable locally at 6 euro/day.
