Hotel Neon Hotel (Malia)

Boardering both Malia and Stalis, the Neon was one of Malia's first hotels and offers good value for money right in the heart of the resort(s). On your doorstep you have a wealth of shops, restaurants and bars and to the rear the lovely large pool area leads right onto the sandy beach so you have everything you could want at your finger tips. The hotel is family run and is kept clean and well maintained. A large taverna and snack bar to the rear with a recently renovated lobby bar to the front make this a great option. It also has a number of repeat bookings based on the fact that people know what they get and they get what they like at this great little 2 star option.

Bedroom: The rooms are simple yet clean, most of them have views of the pool and sea, though these can not be guaranteed. Beds are twin or double although some double beds may be pushed together to create double beds. Each room has a private balcony. Air conditioning is charged locally c. 6€ per day.

Reception: The following facilities may be arranged through the hotel reception: Room Service, Airport Shuttle, Laundry, Dry Cleaning, Barber/Beauty Shop, Breakfast in the Room, Ironing Service, Currency Exchange, Car Rental, Fax/Photocopying.

Restaurant: Greek and international cuisine and light snacks served in the hotel restaurant.

Breakfast room: The buffet breakfast is served in the main restaurant area daily from 7am.

Bar: The hotel lobby bar is open daily from early morning to late at night (depending on guests) the pool bar has more restricted hours to coincide with the opening hours of the pool.

Family facilities: small child pool and rooms accommodating an extra bed for children up to 12yrs.

Disabled facilities: Limited facilities, the hotel has a lift servicing all floors and the surrounding area of the hotel is all flat.

Beach: Access to the pool is directly at the back of the hotel.

Within 20 minutes walk: The beach, bars, restaurants, shops and all other resort facilities.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): Check on line transfer operators for quick and inexpensive shuttle services or a taxi direct will take around 25mins and cost 30€. Car hire is the most effective way of seeing the island having flexibility to discover the island.

Train: The bus can be taken directly outside the hotel on the main tourist strip.

Parking: Limited free parking available for guests at no charge.
