Hotel San Marco

The San Marco hotel is situated just outside the old city walls and within a ten minute stroll guests can reach the historic centre - a particularly unique experience if you choose to walk through the old passageways, used by the residents of Lucca for centuries! Opened in 2006, the hotel offers a contemporary ambience in the public areas and bedrooms are also modern in style. A great advantage for the summer months is the hotels outdoor pool where guests can take a break from their exploration of this enchanting city.

Restaurant: Hotel does not have a restaurant but has an arrangement with local pizzeria in order that pizza can be ordered and brought to hotel, then added to the guests' hotel bill.

Bar: On request 24 hour.

Business facilities: Internet corner 5 euro for 2 hours and Wi-Fi (payable locally).

Family facilities: Cost availabe. Euro 15 per night payable locally.

Disabled facilities: Available on request. Located on ground floor.

Within 20 minutes walk: Lucca old town, restaurants, bars, shops.

Transport Connections

Airport(s): Train directly from Pisa airport to Pisa centre then train from Pisa to Lucca approx 1 hour (c. 3 euro), then short taxi ride approx. 10 mins (c. 7 euro) or a approx. 35 min walk through the town centre. Taxi direct approx. 45 euro.

Train: Bus stop 250m from hotel. Train station is approximately 2km from the hotel.

Parking: Private garage. Guests pay locally (c. 15 euro/day) Please note: Due to the lay out of the garage, some larger types of car will not be able to enter.
