This hotel has a fantastic position, right in the heart of Lucca's historic centre. Just steps from the beautiful cathedral and dating from the mid 1800s, it was in fact one of the very first hotels to be built in the city. Bedrooms are decorated in a traditional, classic style and due to the historic nature of the building vary quite widely in shape and size but also all offer a view over one of Lucca's delightful squares. Public areas include an elegant restaurant, a lounge and reading room, each spacious and exuding an atmosphere of antique grandeur. Bedroom: Non-smoking rooms available. Bar: Bar does not have specific opening times, guests can request drinks as they wish (nor 24hr). Business facilities: One meeting room with a capacity for up to 30 people. Within 20 minutes walk: Hotel is in the heart of Lucca old town so all attractions of the city and many restaurants, shops etc. Transport ConnectionsAirport(s): Train directly from Pisa airport to Pisa centre then train from Pisa to Lucca approx 1 hour (c. 3 euro), then very short taxi ride approx. 3 - 5 mins (c. 5 euro) or a short walk. Taxi direct approx. 45 euro. Train: Bus stop within a five minute walk of the hotel. Parking: Public parking approx. 10 m from the hotel at a cost of approx. 1 euro/hour. Please note that use of cars is restricted in the city centre and guests will only be allowed to drop of bags and then park the car. They will not be allowed to drive around within the city walls.
