Hotel Villa La Principessa (Comfort Room)

This charming hotel, built in the 13th century and located in the tranquil countryside that surrounds the city of Lucca, was once the home of the Duke & Duchess of the city and also accommodated Napoleons Bonaparte's sister, Elisa! The hotel certainly aims to treat its guests like royalty when they check into their hotel, offering classic, traditional furnishings in the bedrooms (including many pieces of original antique furniture) and a real sense of opulence in the public areas. The large gardens accommodate an outdoor pool and provide guests with a quiet retreat for thorough relaxation.

Bedroom: Bedrooms are Non-smoking.

Suite: Junior Suites and Suites available on request. There are two Suites - one in a modern style, the other in a classic style with large balcony/terrace. All suites are also equipped with bathrobes and slippers!.

Deluxe rooms available on request which are larger and decorated in a different style.

Restaurant: Open for dinner from 7.30pm until 10.30pm. Serves Italian and typical local cuisine. Closed Tuesdays.

Bar: Open 3pm until 11pm. Also serves snacks.

Business facilities: Meeting room with capacity of up to 90 people.

Family facilities: Family rooms available and high chairs and children's menu available in restaurant.

Disabled facilities: No specifically adapted rooms.

Within 20 minutes walk: Outskirts of Lucca (Lucca historic centre is approx. 4km). Villa Bernadini, Convent of San Cerbone.

Airport(s): Train directly from Pisa airport to Pisa centre then train from Pisa to Lucca approx 1 hour (c. 3 euro), then short taxi ride approx. 5 mins (c. 5 euro). Taxi direct approx. 45 euro.

Train: Nearest bus stop is approx. 20 m from hotel entrance. Buses go to Lucca historic centre and train station.

Parking: Private outdoor parking. Free of charge to guests.
